Caroline Denzler (Preparatory Ballet)
Caroline Denzler brings to L’Etoile/The Russian Ballet Academy of Maryland 40 years of experience teaching young people the joy of dance. Specializing in the teaching of the young student, she has developed a curriculum of age appropriate technique designed not only to instill the basic fundamentals of ballet but to foster creativity and a love of movement and classical ballet. Trained primarily in the Washington area, she was fortunate to have exceptional teachers; foremost among them was Oleg Tupine of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Her professional performing career includes performing as a soloist with the National Ballet, Ballet El Paso!, and The Virginia Ballet. Several years ago, at the invitation of Dover Books, the largest publisher in the world of art books, she wrote the text for The Ballet Class Coloring Book allowing her to share her love of the ballet with many more children worldwide.
